Beta Program — Fire Department Partner Invitation

Partner with PumpForge

PumpForge is a web-based pump operator training platform built specifically for fire departments — a realistic fire pump panel simulator, scenario-based training, certification tracking, and instructor tools in one system. We're in beta and looking for departments to partner with us as early adopters. Your feedback will directly shape the product.

How selection works: the application below helps us determine whether your department is a good fit for the beta. Submitting it isn't a commitment on either side — we review every application and follow up within one business day to let you know whether your department qualifies for this round.

What the Platform Does Today

Pump Panel Simulator

A browser-based fire pump panel where trainees set pressures, manage intake, and balance multiple discharge lines — scored against correct hydraulic calculations, with safety-flag detection (cavitation, overpressure, dead-end lines) and detailed After-Action Review.

Scenario-Based Training

Instructors build or assign scenarios that mirror real operations — hydrant supply, draft, relay pumping, multi-line evolutions. Difficulty adapts to each trainee's performance.

Instructor Tools

Assign scenarios to individuals or shifts, monitor active simulations in real time, review and approve results, compare scores across trainees and time, and add notes and feedback.

Certification & Compliance

Track NFPA 1002 certifications, personnel credentials, and ISO training hours with automated expiration alerts and audit-ready reports.

eLearning

NFPA-aligned course modules with video, quizzes, and completion tracking. Study guides accessible on any device.

What We're Looking For in a Beta Partner

We're not looking for perfection from you — we're looking for real use and real feedback. The ideal beta department:

  • Has 5–20 pump operators (or trainees working toward certification)
  • Has at least one training officer or instructor who will actively use the platform
  • Is willing to provide honest feedback — what's broken, what's confusing, what's missing
  • Can commit to using the platform for 30–60 days during the beta period
  • Has basic internet access — the platform runs in any modern browser, no special hardware needed

How the Beta Works

1

Apply

Complete the application below. Once we confirm your department qualifies, we set up your account, configure your apparatus details, and create instructor and trainee accounts.

2

Onboarding (30 minutes)

A quick walkthrough with your training officer covering the instructor dashboard, scenario assignment, and how trainees access the simulator.

3

Use it with your crew

Assign scenarios, run trainees through the simulator, and track progress — however it fits your training schedule.

4

Give us feedback

Report bugs through the built-in support ticket system, or tell us directly. We fix issues fast and ship updates weekly.

5

Shape the roadmap

At the end of the beta period we'll review your feedback together and discuss what comes next — including preferred pricing for beta partners who continue.
