Place a single 1¾" attack line in service from booster tank water within standard time. Tests basic PDP + flow.

How does it work?

Every NFPA 1410 evolution maps to the existing PumpForge simulator runtime. The operator sees their normal pump panel, the supply config + discharge lines + target PDP are pre-loaded from the standard, and the grading engine scores against the same NFPA-aligned weights it uses for NFA evolutions: PDP accuracy, flow steadiness, time-to-charge, supply management.

New demo departments come with all 7 evolutions pre-loaded automatically. Existing departments seed them with one click from the scenarios catalog — instructors and department admins only. Each drill binds to an apparatus already in your fleet.

Why it matters

NFPA 1410 evolutions are how departments prove their initial-attack capability under NFPA 1500 + ISO Public Protection Classification audits. Departments using them are typically asked to demonstrate one or more evolutions during accreditation visits and ISO surveys. Having them ready-to-run in a simulator lets operators rehearse before the actual drill ground — no apparatus tied up, no fuel burned, no water consumed.

Running a 1410 program that holds up

NFPA 1410 recommends evolutions be drilled regularly, not performed once for a certificate. A cadence that works: each crew runs the full 7-drill set once per quarter in the simulator, and the training officer picks one drill per quarter to validate on the drill ground. The simulator reps are where the time drops — operators stop hunting for the tank-to-pump valve and start hitting target pressure on muscle memory — so the live drill becomes confirmation instead of practice.

Every simulated run generates its own paper trail automatically: a scored After Action Report with the gauge timeline, an entry in the department audit log, and training hours logged toward the ISO Driver/Operator bucket.
