Single Handline from Tank
Place a single 1¾" attack line in service from booster tank water within standard time. Tests basic PDP + flow.

Same handline as 1A but supplied via 4" LDH from a hydrant. Adds supply-line management.

Charge two 1¾" lines simultaneously off hydrant supply. Operator balances both flows.

Single 2½" smooth-bore at 250 GPM / 50 PSI tip. Tests larger-flow handline + higher PDP.
Master Stream from Hydrant
Deck gun at 1000 GPM supplied via 5" LDH. Manages high-volume supply + residual pressure.
Drafting from Static Source
Hard-suction draft from pond/cistern. Operator primes, hits 1000 GPM @ 150 PSI, holds it.
Relay Supply Operation
Receive from source engine via 4" LDH, pump forward to attack. Manages incoming residual.
How does it work?
Every NFPA 1410 evolution maps to the existing PumpForge simulator runtime. The operator sees their normal pump panel, the supply config + discharge lines + target PDP are pre-loaded from the standard, and the grading engine scores against the same NFPA-aligned weights it uses for NFA evolutions: PDP accuracy, flow steadiness, time-to-charge, supply management.
New demo departments come with all 7 evolutions pre-loaded automatically. Existing departments seed them with one click from the scenarios catalog — instructors and department admins only. Each drill binds to an apparatus already in your fleet.
Why it matters
NFPA 1410 evolutions are how departments prove their initial-attack capability under NFPA 1500 + ISO Public Protection Classification audits. Departments using them are typically asked to demonstrate one or more evolutions during accreditation visits and ISO surveys. Having them ready-to-run in a simulator lets operators rehearse before the actual drill ground — no apparatus tied up, no fuel burned, no water consumed.

Both live in the same scenario catalog and run on the same pump panel, but they answer different questions. The NFA evolutions teach and test pump operator skill; the 1410 drills prove company capability against the clock.

In practice they compound: operators build the pressure math and panel fluency on NFA evolutions, then prove speed under the 1410 clock. A department that runs both has an answer for every auditor.
Running a 1410 program that holds up
NFPA 1410 recommends evolutions be drilled regularly, not performed once for a certificate. A cadence that works: each crew runs the full 7-drill set once per quarter in the simulator, and the training officer picks one drill per quarter to validate on the drill ground. The simulator reps are where the time drops — operators stop hunting for the tank-to-pump valve and start hitting target pressure on muscle memory — so the live drill becomes confirmation instead of practice.
Every simulated run generates its own paper trail automatically: a scored After Action Report with the gauge timeline, an entry in the department audit log, and training hours logged toward the ISO Driver/Operator bucket. When the ISO field representative asks how often you drill initial-attack evolutions, the answer is a report export, not a recollection.
